Minimum Standards to Teach Lessons, Clinics, or Commercial Guided Rides:
The instructor must have Commercial Liability Insurance for themselves or their company and list Ride Kanuga as additional insured.
Instructors must be certified by the Professional Mountain Bike Instructor Association (PMBIA) or the Bicycle Instructor Certification Program (BICP), AND operate under the scope of practice for their level of certification. Instructors must provide a copy of their certification to Ride Kanuga and keep that current.
Instructors must have a minimum of Basic First Aid and Adult CPR and provide that documentation to Ride Kanuga.
Instructors must provide Ride Kanuga a copy of their client waiver.
All clients AND instructors must purchase a day pass or membership from the Kanuga Website. (Instructors are eligible for the industry annual pass). All riders must sign the Ride Kanuga waiver.
Instructors must pay an additional permit fee per person per day.
For group clinics, instructors and companies must agree to a Minimum Advertised Price for groups over 4 people.
For clinics with more than 4 people or if setting up ramps, platforms, stunts or other obstacles, instructor or company must submit proposed dates and general plan 90 days in advance and obtain approval from Ride Kanuga.
Each instructor or company will sign an agreement to adhere to these policies.

Ride Rock Creek is excited to host Thursday Night Dual Slalom Practices to let riders get familiar with the dual slalom discipline before the Strait Acres event, September 11-14!
Vendor spaces are available for industry members, local businesses, or companies looking to promote their products, raise awareness, and have a front-row-seat to the action all week long. These spaces will be located in the area with the highest foot traffic.
Pit spaces are available for race teams & riders to have a tent/support set up in the pit area located at the finish line of the downhill track and below the vendor area. Only teams/riders with booked pit spaces will be permitted to leave setups up overnight.
Van, Tent and RV spaces are designed for participants or visitors that are looking to stay on-site in their vehicles. The cost is per night. Ride Rock Creek & Event Staff reserve the right to ask you to leave the property for rule violations.
We are offering a pay-for spectator shuttle pass per day that will give you access to the spectator shuttle up to the top of the mountain during the event. Safety is our utmost priority, which is why we have designated secure areas specifically for spectators to enjoy the races while maintaining a safe distance. Waivers must be signed by all individuals on the property. So come one, come all, as we extend a warm welcome to Rock Creek, where the thrill and excitement of gravity mountain biking await you! ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ARE ALLOWED ON THE SHUTTLE OR MOUNTAIN.
